What is the College Golf Showcase?
It is the first and only event in Europe that gives the opportunity to golfers to show their golf level playing in front of college coaches from American universities.
Can parents be at the event?
Parents will not be allowed to caddie the players but will be welcomed as spectators.
Where is it going to be the Showcase?
The College Golf Showcase will be in Spain in the summer, check the schedule for more info.
What age do you need to participate?
The event will be open to any golfers in between 15 to 20 years old interested in study and play golf in USA.
Is this event for people from other countries than Spain?
Golf players from any country can participate at the event and will have same opportunities.
What is it covered by a golf scholarship in USA?
Golf scholarships in USA cover a percentage of total costs (tuition and fees, books, room and board, medical insurance) en case of a full ride scholarship all these expenses will be covered. Also all golf expenses are always covered (practices, clothes, trips to competitions, hotels, food….)
For what college season will be the coaches looking for?
All golf coaches in the event will be looking mainly for seasons of next years
Will I get a scholarship in the event?
All golf coaches in the event will have at least one position open on the team and will be looking for golfers. If your level is good enough and they are interested in you, you could get an offer in the showcase.
How do I know if a coach is interested in me?
Golf coaches interested in a player will talk to them during the event. Some coaches prefer to keep the contact information and talk to them after the event. All coaches will have contact information of the players at the event.
What coaches will be at the showcase?
We will be inviting all golf coaches from NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA leagues. Coaches usually confirm when the date of the showcase if getting closer. We will publish a list of all universities attending to the showcase.
Is there limited number of player?
We recommend registering as soon as possible to secure your spot on the showcase. We have a limit number of players for the showcase. We have a limit of 100 players.
How do I register for the showcase?
You have to go to the section sign up for players and you will have to fill out all the information and we will inform you about next steps.
How can I pay the fee?
We will send instructions to all the players registered.
What is yours cancellation policy?
In case of cancelation all payments will not be refunded. Only will be refunded in case the showcase is cancelled. In this case, all payments will be refunded to the players.
